The family behind Abar

Our name comes with personal responsibility

Our story began in Warsaw in 1992. We have run the company continuously ever since. Being a family business means that our work, our relationships and our reputation are closely connected.

Today we combine business experience, curatorial selection and an understanding of interiors. Abar Interior Art brings together original paintings by contemporary artists working in Spain.

We want you to know who you are buying from and what you are choosing. That is why we introduce our team, identify the artist behind each work and help you consider its dimensions, colours and framing before you decide.

Bogdan Kamiński

Founder

Business management and the direction of Abar. Manages Contracts and our Spanish partnership.

He has run furniture stores since 1992 — Italian furniture first, Transforms at Domoteka today. Abar began with a meeting with Spanish artists at a fair in Milan. He handles the contracts, the partnership with the gallery in Valencia, and where all of this is heading.

Marta Kamińska

Head of Collection

Curation and brand communication · MA, Academy of Fine Arts.

She reviewed and described nearly 800 paintings so the collection can be searched by room, colour and style rather than by the artist's name. She decides what goes into the offer and what hangs in the showrooms. A designer trained at the Academy of Fine Arts, with eight years of corporate work behind her, she also shapes how Abar looks and what it says.

Anna Kamińska

Social Media & Communications Specialist

Tells the stories behind the works, runs our Social Media Accounts.

She talks about the paintings on camera: where they came from, how one technique differs from another, which interiors they suit. If you write to us on Facebook or Instagram, Anna is the one who answers.

Yes. We offer hand-crafted works, not printed reproductions. Each work is attributed to a specific artist, signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Who is behind Abar Interior Art?

Abar is a family company run by the Kamiński family, operating continuously in Warsaw since 1992. Our team is Bogdan Kamiński, CEO; Hanna Kamińska, curator and social media specialist; and Marta Kamińska, interior advisor with a master’s degree from an Academy of Fine Arts.

Can the artwork be personalised?

For selected models, it is possible to change the dimensions, dominant colour palette or selected elements of the composition.

Do you work with architects and companies?

Yes. We support architects, designers, hotels, restaurants, offices and showrooms.

Is delivery free?
